Movie Review: Angels & Demons

I love Tom Hanks.  I think he is one of the best actors of our time.  And his performance in Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons is up there with his best.

The movie, while long, doesn’t feel like it goes on forever.  I was kept on the edge of my seat for most of it and was pretty well unaware of the ending, though I had sneaking suspicions.   I haven’t read any of Dan  Brown’s books, but I definitely want to now.  Ron Howard, the director, kept the integrity of the mystery while still cutting scenes (from what I hear).

The other actors in the movie had great performances as well and I hope to see some of them in The DaVinci Code. I also look forward to the next book (and movie) in the Prof. Langdon series.
